Well Established Strategies

The use and capitalization of intangible elements is common business practice throughout the developed world. Although the strategies that LYIP applies are not new, their use by low-income producers is an innovation that is gaining traction and returning significant results such as the Ethiopian Coffee Initiative and Divine Chocolate examples illustrate. These examples also show that just as there are unique products, so too are there unique business strategies; one size does not fit all.

LYIP is also currently contracted to develop scoping analysis of opportunities for Value Capture for Caribbean countries. Under the first phase of the Caribbean work, a number of opportunities are being identified and initial scoping analysis conducted, for three initial countries - Belize, Grenada and Jamaica.
